Irish Stir Fry Meat, Cut and Marinated in Longford

Stir fry is the fastest hot meal a butcher can help you with. The meat is already cut to the right size, already seasoned, and cooks through in the time it takes to boil rice. Everything in this range is prepared in our own kitchen on Ballymahon Street using 100% Irish beef and chicken.

The range covers three directions:

• Beef Stir Fry (500g) — plain strips of Irish beef, cut across the grain so they stay tender in a hot pan. The blank canvas: add your own soy, garlic and ginger, or whatever sauce is in the press.
• Tex Mex Beef Stir Fry with Mixed Veg — beef and vegetables in one pack, seasoned and ready to go. A complete pan of food with nothing else to buy.
• Piri Piri Chicken Stir Fry (500g) — Irish chicken in a proper piri piri marinade. Genuinely hot, not just coloured.

Getting the best from it. The single most common mistake is a pan that isn't hot enough and too much meat in it at once. Cook in two batches in a very hot pan, keep everything moving, and get it out while it still has some bite. Four or five minutes total, not ten.
